The Day Before
It's Friday night on July 7th, 2017, so of course we're on our way home from watching Spider-Man Homecoming. I mean I'm married to Benjamin Stewart, so of course! His brothers, Jake and Seth are in town with us to help us move out of our home. Ben took the day off so he could "help" but the new Spider-Man movie may had some influence in that decision. I'm glad he did stay home though, my back was a bit achy and so I didn't do much work. Didn't want to strain it. I have some weddings coming up and a surprise road trip back to Vegas planned!
We're on our way home from the AMC Disney Springs theaters and all I want in life are noodles. This craving has lasted all evening, and it's not unique. I love noodles and crave them often. This time though, it needed to be noodles in soup. Like gourmet ramen noodles. It was a fairly specific craving. So we drop Ben's brothers off at home and continue on to Wal-Mart! I go to the Asian isle and buy 7 different varieties of noodles and rush home to start cooking. Jake decided to have some too and I decided on the spiciest one we got. A Korean spicy black flavor. I've had them before and knew the spicy punch that came with them.
They were delicious! But of course right after I got nauseous, just in time to go to bed. Maybe that was a bad decision.
Even with such an intense craving and immediate nausea after, I had no inclination that I might be pregnant. I'm late for my period all the time and we have been trying for so long, nothing seems out of the ordinary.
