End of 1st Trimester

Hey nugget!

We made it!!!!!! Today marks the last day of the first trimester. Whoa! What a ride! I did have doubts. But I'm so glad we got to this big milestone and I already feel myself relaxing and allowing myself to just get so excited!

We're in Price, Utah right now at my Grandma's house with my mom. That wasn't originally the plan. I was supposed to be in Florida getting ready to head to Miami to shoot a wedding. I had booked a 10 day trip to cover the wedding last weekend and the wedding this upcoming weekend, but the wedding last weekend did not go well. 

That's not true. The wedding went great! And the pictures are amazing! But I didn't do well and Casie and Leila are the reasons it went so well. I hired them both as backup in case I needed them, but i didn't ever think it would have gone the way it did. 

I ended up passing out during the ceremony. I felt it coming but I needed to take care of a few things like get my camera to Leila and tell Casie before heading out to the hallway. I passed out in private and I was fine, but then the sweet church ladies found out and made a whole big deal about it and everyone knew the photographer wasn't okay. I lost my vision for most of the day and couldn't stand on my own. 

But Casie and Leila were already prepped to take over and they did! I was so impressed! I ended up going back to the hotel after all the reception events and let them finish off the night. Then I booked a flight back to Vegas and the day after the wedding I ended up changing the flight to Utah for that evening so I could be with my mom. I missed Bed and wanted to see him, but he was so busy with work and nothing really beats being with your mom and my mom just happened to be in Utah visiting my grandmother. 

My mom drove 2 1/2 hours to meet me in Salt Lake City and spend the night with me. It was August 20th and the next day was the eclipse! Tanner and Caroline drove up to Idaho to see the total eclipse, which I heavily considered as well, but I was way too sick! We got a 92% eclipse at the hotel and I was ready with glasses that ben bought for us. It was pretty awesome but we're definitely going to have to catch a total eclipse!

I'm still sick and tired and SUPER dizzy, but my spirits are higher! I went to the ER yesterday after I had a sharp pain that I suspected was a UTI but feared was a kidney infection or something worse. It wasn't. It was just growing pains I guess. But my mom and I got to see you and you sure put on a show! You were doing jumping jacks and some wild dance moves! That was a fun moment and so great to share with my mom. Suddenly all my symptoms felt less dramatic after that. 

Then that night, I noticed something protruding from my abdomen when I was laying down and I felt it and it was hard. You started making your appearance!! I went online and ordered some Star Wars themed baby bump shirts this morning! We might just wear one to the Halloween party at Disney World!

Well it's late and I'm exhausted. Which is typical for me. Can't wait to wake up tomorrow in trimester 2!!!
