25 Weeks: Another ER visit

We had a bit of a scare today. 

Although you seemed to be fine through the whole thing, kicking all day long, in what I assume to be protests for not moving around. 

Last night I woke up super sick and all the food I had consumed the previous couple days came back up. Even after that, this morning I was still puking everything. I couldn’t keep anything down. By 10am I started having strong contractions and we were headed to the ER in Price, Utah. 

At the hospital, they got me on an IV of fluids which stopped the contractions pretty quickly. Someone from OB still came up and set up a heart monitor and we got to spend the next hour listening to your heart. Your Dad REALLY enjoyed that. We could hear every time you kicked (although I could feel it too) so Ben started testing out baby names to see which ones you would react to. Apparently you think you’re an Alice. We re-tested it though, and you didn’t respond, so I guess you changed your mind.

Today was ALSO our first Baby Shower! My Mom's family came together to celebrate you! Ben helped decorate and really enjoyed being a part of the shower. I enjoyed having him there to take away some of the attention. We had all my favorite treats, but unfortunately I still couldn't keep food down, so everyone else got to enjoy it without me. 

But let me tell you, we were sure spoiled! Just wait until you see all the cute stuff here waiting for you!
